Rising majestically above the Missouri River, the Gasconade County Courthouse is the most important public building in our county. Working in partnership with the Gasconade County Commission and the private sector, the Gasconade County Courthouse Society is working to renovate and restore this historic building. This amazing building was constructed with funds left in Charles D. Eitzen's will and is recognized to be the only courthouse in America built entirely from private funding.
